A Luggage Tracking & Recovery Concept

The Problem: The process of locating lost luggage is a frustrating "black box" for travelers. The lack of real-time information creates significant anxiety and wastes valuable time, turning a travel experience sour before it even begins.

The Solution: Trace is a mobile application concept designed to demystify the luggage handling process and empower the traveler. By integrating with internal airport baggage systems, Trace provides end-to-end location knowledge, transforming a feeling of helplessness into one of control and peace of mind.

Core Features & Design Philosophy:

• Effortless Onboarding: A frictionless, 3-step syncing process allows the user to pair their suitcase with the app in under a minute. The UX is designed to be intuitive and fast, getting the user set up before they even leave for the airport.

• Live Location Tracking: The cornerstone of the experience is a clean, minimalist map interface. It provides real-time updates on the suitcase's location—from check-in, to the plane, to the destination carousel. This "Peace of Mind Map" is designed to be instantly understandable at a glance.

• Intuitive AI Assistance: A friendly and helpful chatbot is integrated into the app. It proactively guides users through the syncing process and serves as the first point of contact for any issues, providing instant answers and initiating a recovery claim if necessary.

My Role & Skills Demonstrated: This project showcases a holistic design approach.

• Branding: Developed a trustworthy and calming brand identity for "Trace."
