Vogue puts on a show at Milan Fashion week FW26

To sound of Adriano celentano Vogue, together with Prada Milano and a few more partners, ingaurate Milan FW26 with exuberant dances at the very core of the the Vittorio Emanuele II Galleries. Symmetrical shapes, energetic moves dancing to Prisencolinensinainciusol, a more than 50 years old masterpiece.

Show which was directed by Anna Winntour and Fransesca Ragazzi themselves, with patronage from the City of Milan and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. A huge model cast and crazy genious dancers, crashed the media within the fashion community. As a matter of fact, Gigi Hadid opened in a gold brocade Valentino gown made from recycled Venetian quilts. The gown came from Alessandro Michele’s Spring 2025 haute couture collection. Piece that took 1,680 hours of handwork.

The Fashion Outsider
When I was 23, I had the chance to work in a small fashion start up. I worked with excellent fashion involved professionals, coming from all sides of the world. It was during covid time. It awakened my interest in fashion and raised the curtain to my perception of the industry. It takes experience, questioning reality, society and reading, and reading. I understand it is not the same for every individual. For me overcoming the fashion outsider syndorme came with deeply understanding the fashion system inside out.
Its is pretty obvioius though, but fashion draws us to idealize its nature. When being studied, you see it’s simply a different approach to aesthetics.
It is truly stranger than we can imagine. I truly believe has always meant to be a show, and it should never stop to surprise us. In this Internet Economy where everyone fights to sustain their engagement rate, Attention is the protagonist. Fashion plays an important role to sweeten the after life of new rich and upper middle class. People who don’t get it…are simply out.
